The Storytellers first got their start as a role-playing "clan" on an old anime forum (called Anime league ) back in May of 2004. (and we've been active on discord since June 18 2017) 

In the beginning, we focused on a single themed, as a rag tag mercenary crew (The Wolf Pack), usually hired to monster hunt, but always ready to defend our own, and our territories. 

In the world we wrote in, we were joined by other various groups, who together; built an amazing world full of fun characters, complicated wars, and competitions.

In those early years, the crew formed what would become life long friendships, and writing partners. Who over the last 20+ years have collaborate and brought many worlds and characters to life.

After all this time, our goals still stay the same. We plan to continue to write fun and engaging stories, both short form, and stories that go on for years. Making genuine friendships along the way. 

Most importantly, we strive to keep the early 2000's forum style of roleplaying alive. By offering play by post group roleplay where each roleplay post is its own stand alone story. Where people build characters to fit the needs of the roleplay and the wants of the roleplayer. Where public collaborative writing is celebrated, nurtured, and taught.  

We do this through a system on our discord server, and for now all roleplay on our server falls under the modern fantasy genre.
Any other genres the crew wishes to write, we put together and sponsor on our sister server The Roleplayer's Directory.
